1st Task:
Practice going over your presentation. Follow my guidelines, make  your adjustments, and fill out a Presentation Plan. I shared this template with everyone, but I made it view only. You will have to make your own copy in order for you to write on it. To this click File then in the drop down menu click Make a copy and save it to your drive.

2nd Task (If this task is not completed in class, it will be for homework):
Share your draft presentation with your assigned classmate:

Mini Presentation Practice / Presentation Resources

For today's task you will

In pairs you will transmit the information from an article into either Google Slides or Prezi (if it works on the ChromeBooks), according to the guidelines / suggestions discussed in class. No need to go overboard. Pick a short topic from the information. Create an Introduction to the Idea (e.g. Title Slide) and then 1-2 slides highlighting information. 

Post your presentation on both of your Blogger Accounts. Title of the post can be "Our Mini Presentation"

Assessing your Growth Mindset

Dear pre-Freshies,

Last Quarter I made you post about growth mindset. We've been in the classroom for half a year now. I want you to access how you are or aren't achieving a growth mindset. If you set goals for yourself, I want you to access those goals. Have you achieved them? If they were more long term - have you made the appropriate steps to reach those goals?

After you access your goals, I want you to do the following:

Think about and list 2-3 subjects / interests you would like to major at college

Think about and list 2-3 colleges you are interested in attending
