For this blog post, due 1/8 by 11:59PM, I want you to read "How to Build a Joke" written by the comedian Demetri Martin. After you finish reading it, I want you to recall the "Who's On First" routine by Abbott & Costello, and answer the following questions:

•  Reflect on Demetri Martin describes humor as an intentional act with a purpose. Do you think this is true? Have you been aware of this notion before?
• In what way is Abbott & Costello's comedy an intentional act with a purpose? Are there other components of comedy mentioned by Martin that are present in "Who's on First?"
